More and more as time goes by, I have parents of my After School K-2 students poking their heads in on classes to see what all the fuss is about. They only ever see the ‘cool-down’ games at the end, but their responses have been so positive this term, that instead of hustling and pushing for a ‘play’, I decided to make the end of Term 1’s presentation a simple a showing of those process drama games. Never done that before. It was brilliant! The 5-7 year old students themselves happily volunteered to stand up one-by-one to explain how the games that they have grown to love work, and then lead them with the group. They quickly found that it is one thing to know a game, but a whole other thing to know how to teach it. Such good Meta-Thinking. So empowering. They were brilliant. I – along with all their parents – was very proud. Email an enquiry about After School or School Holiday Drama & Creative Arts Programs for kids! director@redroar.com.au about-us-header-right

Testimonials

“The Five-Day Play was the best fun Liesl has had in the school holidays for a long time! She thoroughly enjoyed it and loved the build up to performance on the final day (which the parents enjoyed as much as the kids). It really was wonderful to see them in action.” Liesl’s Mum - Lynda Jupp, October 2013

'The larger Kids Theatre providers don't produce programs as fun as these, or performances as good as these! Red Roar is is REAL value for money!' Maddie's Mum, Kerrie Cant, February 2014

"Thank you again for giving the kids the space to play, learn and grow. We can't wait for the next one!" Georgia Bartley, April 2014
