– Brand New After School Acting Courses for High School Drama Students!

– Students To Perform Live at 505 Theatre Newtown!

 At Red Roar Creative we’ve been hard at work preparing a whole suite of After School Acting Courses specifically designed for High School Students. 

We’re offering fun and fast paced courses in Improvisation, Monologues, Short Plays and Ensemble Work, all delivered by qualified and experienced teachers who know both the industry and the high school curriculum. It’s a diverse and specialized program of specialised acting courses offered in separate Year 7&8 and Year 9&10 strands. 

Our new after school acting class is set to run on Mondays from 3.45pm-5.30pm at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre. And as part of an exciting new partnership for Red Roar, end of term performances for all of our new High School Student courses will be on the professional stage live at 505 Theatre Newtown! 

There are no auditions. First in, best dressed. The only pre-requisites will be each student’s ability to travel solo from their school to Newtown Neighbourhood Centre by 3.45pm on Mondays, and of course, a real passion for acting, group work, and creating original performance. 

Schools are invited to nominate whole team groups, and the first five schools to express interest will receive a free school visit workshop as a taster!
